Role Overview:
As an EHS Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across our manufacturing operations and capital expenditure (CapEx) construction projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  3. Provide EHS expertise and support for manufacturing operations and CapEx construction projects.
  4. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to integrate EHS requirements into project planning and execution.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate environmental and occupational health risks.
  6. Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence and promote continuous improvement.
  7. Provide training and mentorship to employees on EHS best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
