On the back of the success in Ireland, the client contacted us needing two Senior Project Directors for a project, one in Germany and one in Italy. The client was already working with a consultancy who had tried to source the talent but were unsuccessful and unable to help. Our strong relationship with the client meant they trusted us to help.
Both these roles were a major part of their respective projects, and work couldn’t go ahead without them, this had a knock-on effect on the start date on the project and it became delayed. Due to the time constraints, we decided the best approach would be to find existing candidates on our database who fit the criteria. We contacted several candidates who we knew were always looking for contractual work and ensured that everyone we contacted had the right skill set, experience, and technical background at a minimum. On top of these requirements, we were looking for individuals who could speak the language and were a good cultural fit for the business.
The client showed interest in several of the candidates we put forward and conducted interviews with them. After narrowing it down, each respective project manager made a decision on who they wanted to fill the position. We were able to source for both positions within two weeks. Each first-choice candidate selected was available was keen to move forward after being offered the role. The client was very impressed with the turnaround as it meant their projects weren’t further delayed. Following the success of the placements we are now in a discussion to fill in the remaining project team of five more members.
