This was a permanent, new role for the business as a result of the expansion of the organisation and teams. The position required expertise in the specialised field of engineering pharmaceutical machinery that produces medication. Fluency in both German and English was also a requirement for the role.
We reached out to our extensive network and sourced one particular candidate who met the criteria for the role. We had several discussions with this candidate prior to putting them forward to ensure that they were not only capable of doing the role but also compatible with the company culture before. After the first interview, the feedback was positive from both sides, the candidate was a frontrunner and invited to a site visit as a final stage interview. Overall, the process was smooth, and this candidate was offered the job due to their extensive experience and bilingual abilities.
The candidate accepted the role immediately and agreed on a start date which worked for both parties. As this candidate was moving for a permanent position to a contract position, we were in regular contact to help ease this transition. A week after the candidate was onboarded, we checked in with the client and learned that they had already given the candidate a project and were pleased with the progress being made. The client has since approached us for help in expanding their team further.
