Senior Engineer, R&D - Verification and Validation

A well established and growing Medical Device company in Greater Boston is seeking a Sr. R&D Engineer to join their team. The client is looking for an individual with strong verification & validation skills for an innovative product development project.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day you will manage all aspects of the Verification and Validation program
• Develop test methods and test fixtures to support the design verification, validation and commercialization of new medical device products
• Perform hands-on and simulated testing for design verification and test method developments
• Lead/execute Test Method Validation (TMV, design verification tests, and test method transfer

Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of R&D experience within New Product Development.
• Experience with leading or executing Design Verification of disposable electromechanical medical devices.
