This is an immediate start contract opportunity for an accountant with 2-4 years experience to join a global life sciences company based out of Buffalo, NY in their accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
- Post cash receipts in the accounting system and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Balance cash and reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare accounts payable files, process payments, and manage ACH/wire payments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years' experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
