Technical Support Specialist
My Client provides immunoassay-based products to the life science research and medical diagnostic industries, they are looking for a technical support / complaints specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Interacting with the companies customers, they will provide technical support and coordinated logistic support and technical analysis as an individual contributor, advancing department objectives.
- Track, record, and document relevant complaint handling information in compliance with company policy to meet its quality system obligations (per 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 standards).
- Perform complaint investigations via in-house product testing, as necessary, and independently execute assay and reagent troubleshooting.
- Assist with creation and update of safety data sheets (SDS) for organic products.
Qualifications & Education:
- Advanced degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, biotechnology, or other related area required.
- 2-3 years experience working in technical support in a lab environment
- Knowledge of plate readers, ELISA automation and data reduction software (e.g., Dynex, Hamilton, Tecan, Luminex, Molecular Devices, Biotek, Softmax Pro, Gen 5 and XLfit).
