Onsite Support Engineer

We are currently looking for an Onsite Support Engineer to join our team in Munich on client's side. A great opportunity to work in the IT field with exposure to new technologies and international environment. The opportunity has a strong focus on service orientation.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Provide technical and troubleshooting assistance related to computer hardware, software and other tech tools and products in a form of combined 1st and 2nd level technical support
  • Prepare Mac and Windows machines with our predefined OS builds / applications
  • Perform user onboarding training for new hires
  • Complete user offboarding, collecting laptops & iPhones and store in our stock
  • IT related relocation tasks, moving IT devices from one desk / floor to another desk / floor
  • Printer management
  • Meeting room & devices management
  • Work with back office / facilities on device purchase / store in stock
  • Keep the IT room clean and tidy
  • Work for end users in the desk location performing hardware or software troubleshooting (no remote work, only onsite troubleshooting)
  • Handle Network / WiFi issues as needed
  • Own the tickets assigned to the engineer in the ticketing system and update regularly without any SLA breaches
  • Work closely with 2nd level onsite engineers for daily tasks distribution

Requirements:

  • Successful training as IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification as well as several years of professional experience
  • Work experience in troubleshooting Mac and Windows machines, as well as experience deploying Windows 10, O365
  • Good knowledge of Jamf Pro, Intunes and G-suite (at least one is mandatory)
  • Good to have knowledge in Cisco WebEx, VPN, Office 365
  • Experience with network technologies and good knowledge of ticketing systems
  • Good at multitasking and prepared to adjust the work priorities to meet clients' needs
  • Fluent English language knowledge strongly required, German or any other EU language is an advantage
  • Experienced working in multinational teams, i.e. sensitive of cultural differences and adaptable
