Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies in accordance with local and global regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver EHS training programs.
- Monitor and assess EHS performance, provide guidance on corrective actions, and track progress towards goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement preventative measures.
- Provide guidance and support to site management and employees on EHS matters.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on EHS metrics and performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an EHS Specialist preferably in the pharmaceuticals or chemical industry.
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement effective controls.
- Professional certifications in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, ASP, CSP) are highly desirable.
