Job Overview: As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations within our operations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement effective EHS programs, identify potential hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation measures. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining our commitment to sustainability and the well-being of our employees.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies in accordance with local and global regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver EHS training programs.
  • Monitor and assess EHS performance, provide guidance on corrective actions, and track progress towards goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement preventative measures.
  • Provide guidance and support to site management and employees on EHS matters.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on EHS metrics and performance.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an EHS Specialist preferably in the pharmaceuticals or chemical industry.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement effective controls.
  • Professional certifications in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, ASP, CSP) are highly desirable.
