I am currently partnering with a global leader in laboratory diagnostics to recruit for a Head of Clinical Chemistry. Due to continuous to growth, my client is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Head of Clinical Chemistry to lead the Clinical Chemistry department in Zurich.

I am currently partnering with a global leader in laboratory diagnostics to recruit for a Head of Clinical Chemistry. Due to continuous to growth, my client is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Head of Clinical Chemistry to lead the Clinical Chemistry department in Zurich.
Your day to day:
- Lead and manage the Clinical Chemistry department, including overseeing daily operations, staff management, and performance optimization.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance departmental efficiency, productivity, and quality of service.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and internal quality assurance protocols.
- Oversee the development and validation of new tests and technologies, ensuring alignment with clinical needs and industry advancements.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to drive cross-functional initiatives and improve overall laboratory performance.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and procurement to ensure optimal allocation and cost-effectiveness.
You should apply if:
- Advanced degree in Clinical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (PhD or equivalent preferred).
- FAMH certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) in Clinical Chemistry.
- Leadership experience / qualities.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Fluent in German and English.
