Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Project Controls Manager to oversee the planning, scheduling, and cost management aspects of our clients chemical manufacturing infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of various projects within our clients' manufacturing facilities, adhering to strict timelines and budgetary constraints. The role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, as well as exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective project control processes and systems to monitor project performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create project schedules, track progress, and identify potential risks and opportunities for optimization.
- Conduct regular project reviews to assess the status of ongoing initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, including cost estimates, variance analysis, and forecasting, to key stakeholders and senior management.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks and challenges, employing strategic solutions to minimize disruptions and ensure the timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project controls or project management within the chemical manufacturing industry or similar.
- Proven expertise in project scheduling, cost control, and risk management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects within strict timelines and budgets.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, and SAP.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
