Head of Maintenance & Pharma Engineering

We are currently looking for a Head of Maintenance and Pharma Engineering for an large, international client. You would be working with an international and dynamic Team, overseing at least four lines of production.

Your daily challenges include:
• Leading & empowering the group of engineers, supervisors and technicians
• Engineering projects from concept phase over purchasing & installation to ramp-up phase
• Managing the project business cases & maintenance/project budgets
• Ensuring the effective supply and storage of spare parts
• Planned maintenance activities to keep the machine in basic conditions and implement the PM-Program (Preventive Maintenance)
• Deliver training to technicians and operators as well as analysis of breakdowns
• Supporting other functions with root-cause-analysis as well as supporting technical projects and the implementation of new products & processes
• Ensuring the adherence to the GMP-rules in the pharmaceutical area as well as ensuring the adherence to safety-standards

What you´ll bring to the table:
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or comparable
• Track record of several years of experience in maintenance, engineering and production roles in the manufacturing area
• Track record in leading teams (high-performing-teams) and proven ability to effectively communicate through and work in a matrix organization in a multinational company
• Strong experience in technical project management
• Strong experience in OPEXc, TPM and PM-programs as well as proven experience in purchasing & installing new lines, machines and technical devices
• Fluency in business English and ideally German
• Proven experience in cultural change and effectively managing and aligning a team (steering committees, goal alignment, leadership development)
• Result driven and value adding: understanding and responding to customer needs, prioritizes, simplifies and acts efficiently
