Pre-Termination Counseling

Before the actual termination, we provide guidance and assistance in the termination planning process, including notice periods, severance, the logistics of the termination meeting, and counseling for the individual affected on the day of departure, all at no additional cost.

CatalystCareers Directions™ Career Counseling

CatalystCareers Directions™ is a unique proprietary assessment program developed over several years and continually enhanced by our career counselors. CatalystCareers Directions™ is a proven program that provides a concise framework for professionals to reevaluate their career path, identify areas of strength and weakness, understand their personal finances, explore new or existing opportunities, and establish a new direction for their careers that is in direct harmony with their overall life goals. Other assessment tools used include Myers-Briggs® Type Indicator, Career Anchors™, True Colors™, Strong Interest Inventory™, and others as dictated by individual needs.

Career Plan and Job Search Strategy Development

Based on the results of the CatalystCareers Directions™ Assessment process, participants can choose to initially explore self-employment opportunities, or begin to develop their personal Job Search Strategies and self-marketing program.

If self-employment becomes a viable option, Catalyst Careers Consultants can assist in the development of comprehensive Business and Marketing plans for potential new business ventures, including market research and financing.

II. Job Search Strategy Development

For participants who wish to continue their career progression as an employee, they can immediately begin to work on development of their personal Job Search Strategies and self-marketing program. Based on the career objectives and strategies derived from the CatalystCareers Directions™ program, combined with the latest employment techniques developed from our Retail Career Consulting division, and the special knowledge gained from working with many professional and educational institutions, participants are guided through the following stages:

Preparation of Resume and Other Marketing Materials

We teach the essentials of Resume writing for the real world, including definition of overall career objectives, conveying accomplishments in the most influential manner, and differentiating distinctive skills and abilities in order to position our candidates competitively in their chosen specialization. Our strategic approach to the design and content of Resumes and other marketing materials adds just the right amount of power and marketing savvy to successfully and quickly obtain interviews.

Networking For Professionals

Catalyst's practical Networking For Professionals program highlights the real power of effective networking, and teaches the fundamentals to tapping this tremendous job search strategy. We focus on the positive aspects of networking, including the latest informational interviewing techniques, and incorporating these techniques into each individual's on-going career plan.
